The Apocalypse and Its Jewish Afterlives

The Department of Religious Studies is hosting the Tate Lecture series.

 Annette Yoshiko ReedAnnette Yoshiko Reed, Associate Professor in the Skirball Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies and Program in Religious Studies at New York University, will lead the lecture.

Her research focuses on angels, demons, apocalypses, and the afterlives of Second Temple Judaism in Late Antiquity and beyond.

Current projects include a book on teh beginnings of Jewish demonology.

Refreshments will be served at 5 p.m.
