POSTPONED UNTIL FALL - 2020 Center City Literary Festival

The health and safety of students, faculty, staff and community friends remains UNC Charlotte’s top priority. The University has been monitoring the rapidly evolving situation around coronavirus (COVID-19) and has been working in close collaboration with local and state resources.

After careful thought and consideration, UNC Charlotte has decided to postpone the 2020 Center City Literary Festival until the fall. This was not an easy decision, but a necessary one in protecting the health and well-being of our campus community.

We will let you know the event is rescheduled.

The annual UNC Charlotte Center City Literary Festival, co-sponsored by the Department of English, will feature readings by noted authors, a reception, discussions, and book signings. The 6 - 9 p.m. lineup includes award-winning poet and UNC Charlotte professor Christopher Davis, award-winning poet and East Carolina University professor Amber Flora Thomas, and renowned fiction/nonfiction writer Robin Hemley. Jazz guitarist and singer Guillermo Villar will perform during the evening reception.
