Annual MLK Celebration with Keynote by Ted Shaw

Honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., this year’s MLK Celebration will feature virtual remarks from Ted Shaw, the Julius L. Chambers Distinguished Professor of Law and Director of the UNC Center for Civil Rights.

Shaw’s public keynote address themed “The Real Dr. King: Humanitarian. Bridge Builder. Activist.” will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26 via Zoom. Attendees must pre-register for the event to receive streaming information.
