Belk Scholars Speaker Series

The 2020 Public Health Sciences Belk Visiting Scholar, Dr. Susan Ramussen, will provide a research seminar with informal Q&A to follow. Her talk is entitled, Excess Mortality in Scotland: Implications for Suicide Research and Prevention Efforts. Dr. Rasmussen is currently a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Research Fellow in the Centre for Health Policy at the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow, Scotland). This research and networking event is a great opportunity for faculty and students with interests in mental health, suicide prevention, global health, international education development, public health, and research methods.
