Registration Open for KNES 1231: Introduction to Outdoor Adventure
Date: Registration begins Nov. 4. Priority is given to those who apply before Nov. 25.
When: Every Wednesday during the Spring semester from 2:30pm-5:15pm
Class Backpacking Trip: March 25-27, 2020
Course fee: $95 — covers all materials for the course and all equipment, instruction, transportation and food for the backpacking trip. Students will need to provide their own backpacking boots.
KNES 1231: Introduction to Outdoor Adventure is the first step toward becoming a Venture Outdoor leader and facilitator (also known as a VOLT) and enrolling in the Kinesiology Outdoor Leadership (KOAL) minor.
This course is a mix of interactive/experiential activities and instruction.
A successful student:
