Online Class: Orchid Care Lecture and Demonstration

Learn how to succeed with orchids at home. Our orchid expert, Mary Duke, will introduce orchid basics including flower types and the growth conditions they will need to thrive. Learn about orchid diversity then focus on six varieties of orchids and how to care for them in the home setting. She will also demonstrate how to assess and repot a Phalaenopsis orchid. Participants will be able to learn from Mary’s expertise so they can feel confident in caring for their own orchids.

A live Zoom format will offer opportunities for students to ask questions. For students unable to attend the live Zoom meetings, questions can be submitted in advance and recordings of the Zoom class will be available for later viewing.
