Beginning Pruning (online); Advanced Pruning (hands-on)

Informed and well-timed pruning can improve woody plant health, improve plant shape, boost flower and fruit yield, and even give a poorly-performing plant an invigorating boost! Learn the basics, including: benefits of pruning, timing (when to prune different groups of plants), proper technique to assure new bud formation and limit damage and disease, and a review of tool selection.

A live Zoom format will offer opportunities for students to ask questions. For students unable to attend the live Zoom meetings, questions can be submitted in advance and recordings of the Zoom class will be available for later viewing.

  • Saturday, Feb. 20, 2-3 p.m. (Beginning Pruning-ONLINE-$15/$10 Members)
